“ I'm not a huge BBQ person, but I have to say, my experience at Rattler's was fantastic! The food was flavorful, well-cooked, and surprisingly right up my alley. The tri-tip was tender, the sides were delicious (the garlic rolls are a must!), and everything had that perfect smoky touch without being overpowering. What really blew me away were the portion sizes because they were Massive! You definitely get your money's worth here, and for the quality and quantity of food, the prices are more than reasonable. On top of that, the service was great. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Even as someone who doesn't usually go for BBQ, I left impressed--and full! Definitely a great spot whether you're a BBQ lover or just tagging along with one. ”

“ Local Santa Clarita people recommended this and Stonefire to m, and later the uber driver told me that they originated from the same family business, so they should taste similar, but the Rattle's should be the first. I ordered the bbq combo with 2 beef ribs and tri tip with bbq sauce, medium cooked. The beef ribs taste soooo good with bbq sauce, but the meat is thin... most people recommend Tri Tip the most, but that's for me too much meat and no fat... the potato smash in the sides is cool. The service is really good! And there're a lot of customers!! It was said that after eating, your whole body will smell like barbecue; but there's no cleaning spray or anything like that provided by the restaurant. ”

Ownership has figured out the secret formula: great food that arrives correctly and promptly, well trained staff, lively atmosphere and not a long wait (if you forgot to get on the waitlist). When it comes to good eating, this is one of our happy places. We always order too much so we have leftover. Love the recent addition of pesto pasta and the caprese sandwich. Highly recommended. We try and to make the 30 minute trek from the SFV at least 2x per month. Words cannot describe how great this restaurant is. ”

“ If I'm being honest, I have mixed feelings about this place. One of the bartenders was super friendly, while the other one was a little standoffish. I sat at the bar to eat, and the friendly bartender was a hoot--really sweet and patient while I figured out what I wanted. I ended up ordering, and when my food came out, it was a bit cold. Honestly, their mac and cheese isn't the best. But to be fair, I didn't mention anything to the bartender, so I didn't really give him a chance to fix it. I was actually recommended the mac and cheese, and I just would have felt horrible saying something. So, if you're a mac and cheese lover, just something to keep in mind. The overall vibe was nice, the BBQ itself was tasty, and everything was decently priced. ”

If she isn't there it definitely deflates our experience since the other servers seem too rushed. If she isn't a cornerstone of this establishment then she should be. “ I'm not a huge fan of BBQ and I'm really picky with it. My bf wanted to try this place so we decided to grab lunch here recently to finally try it since we always smelled how amazing it was whenever we went to pick up Pierogis at the now closed Pierogi Spot next door. Parking is pretty good but can be crowded during peak hours. We managed to sit immediately which was great and David B, greeted us and took our order immediately. My bf typically likes brisket but this place doesn't have that. He opted for some ribs on the menu and our waiter kindle let us know it hasn't been looking great lately, in case we wanted to order something else. We recently went to another bbq place that wasn't great so I'm glad he told us beforehand so that we don't waste our money! Wish more waiters did this. He ordered the baby back ribs with a strawberry lemonade and I got the tri tip medium rare with creamy coleslaw and Mac n cheese with unsweetened iced tea. We also got some garlic rolls to start with which were amazing! Super fresh, soft, crispy on the outside, and delicious garlic goodness. I love dipping it in their bbq sauce! This is exactly the kind of bbq place I would eat at. The bbq sauce is on the sweeter side, just how I like it. The drinks are huge! They come in big mason jars so you really get a lot. Once our food came out, I wasn't crazy about the coleslaw, wish it was creamier honestly but the Mac n cheese was delicious. This is by far the only place I've tried yet, that has perfected a medium rare tri tip. The way it was perfectly cooked and sauced/seasoned was amazing!! I even had leftovers for dinner but I was incredibly happy that I enjoyed this place since I'm a picky bbq eater. Highly recommend this place!
